Gregg A. Malmquist, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Western Kentucky Orthopaedic and Neurosurgical Associates, a medical group with four offices throughout the state. He his clinical interests include fracture surgery, total joint replacement and sports medicine.
He has experience performing innovative procedures, such as computer-assisted total knee replacement. Prior to joining Western Kentucky Orthopaedic and Neurosurgical Associates in 2001, he practiced orthopedics at Honolulu-based Tripler Army Medical Center and Campbell, Ky.-based Blanchfield Army Community Hospital. He holds memberships with professional societies, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Society of Military Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Dr. Malmquist earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He went on to complete an orthopedic residency at the Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu.
