Jeffrey S. Abrams, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Princeton Orthopaedic Associates, a practice with office locations throughout New Jersey. He specializes in sports medicine and arthroscopic techniques, including rotator cuff repairs and stabilization surgery.
He was appointed to the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons' continuing medical education committee, sits on the board of the Arthroscopy Association of North America and recently served as president for the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons. He has assisted five surgical companies in the development of minimally invasive surgery equipment. His research has focused on hip and knee disorders.
Dr. Abrams earned his medical degree at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, N.Y., and performed an orthopedic residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals in Philadelphia. He went on to complete specialized training through multiple fellowships, including a shoulder fellowship at the University of Western Ontario in Canada.
