Daniel Berry, MD, has been named the chief science advisor for Bodycad.

Here's what you need to know.

 

1. Dr. Berry was formerly the president of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is a chair in the department of orthopedic surgery an L.Z. Gund professor of orthopedic surgery and a trustee at the Mayo Clinic.

 

2. In his position with Bodycad, Dr. Berry will help to provide insight and guidance into the development of products that'll produce improved outcomes for patients.

 

3. Dr. Berry is excited to join Bodycad. He said, "The company's approach of creating personalized orthopaedic restorations holds the potential to improve patient care by enabling greater precision and simpler, more efficient and more reliable surgical techniques."
