Edwin R. Cadet, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Raleigh Orthopaedic, a practice with clinic locations throughout North Carolina. He specializes in treating knee, shoulder and sports-related injuries.
Prior to joining Raleigh Orthopaedic, he served as an assistant attending orthopedic surgeon at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center and an assistant professor of clinical orthopedic surgery at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, both in New York City. At Columbia University, he also served as the director of hip arthroscopy for the shoulder, elbow and sports medicine service. His research, which investigates knee ligament injuries and hip disorders, has been published in the American Journal of Sports Medicine and the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery.
Dr. Cadet earned his medical degree at Brown University in Providence, R.I. He went on to complete residency training at Columbia University Medical Center and a sports medicine and shoulder surgery fellowship at Hospital for Special Surgery, both in New York City. Today, he holds memberships with American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and Arthroscopy Association of North America.
