Brent F. Milner, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Sheridan Orthopaedic Associates, a practice in Sheridan, Wyo. His clinical interests include the treatment of shoulder, hand and sports-related conditions.
He served as a lieutenant colonel with the U.S. Army Reserve Medical Corps, where he practiced with a forward surgical team in Afghanistan and at a combat surgical Hospital in the Balkans. He is a member of the orthopedic departments at Fort Polk in Louisiana and Fort Campbell, which is located between Kentucky and Tennessee. Outside of his clinical practice, Dr. Milner has participated in 14 orthopedic research projects, 20 scientific presentations and is a contributing author of three medical textbooks.
Dr. Milner earned his medical degree at University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville. He went on to complete an orthopedic surgery and rehabilitation residency at University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center in Albuquerque. Today, he is a fellow of American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and holds memberships with Wyoming Medical Society, Sheridan County Medical Society, Western Orthopaedic Association and Society of Military Orthopaedic Surgeons.
