Sarim Ahmed, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at The CORE Institute, a Phoenix-based practice with locations in Arizona, Louisiana and Michigan. His clinical interests include joint arthroplasty of the hip and knee.
He practices at two clinics associated with The CORE Institute, one in Phoenix and one in Sun City, Ariz., and is affiliated with Banner-University Medical Center Phoenix. His research, which has been published in Journal of Arthroplasty, investigates joint arthroplasty. He holds memberships with American Orthopaedic Association and American Medical Association.
Dr. Ahmed earned his medical degree at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, N.Y., where he also performed an orthopedic surgery residency. He went on to complete a shoulder, elbow and adult reconstruction fellowship training at the Cleveland Clinic.
