Casey Humbyrd, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Johns Hopkins Medicine-White Marsh in Nottingham, Md., and Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore. Her clinical interests include ankle arthroscopy, ankle impingement and ankle replacement surgery.
At Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Dr. Humbyrd serves as the chief of the foot and ankle division and as an assistant professor of orthopedic surgery. She is vice chair of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society's health policy committee and a young physician representative for the American Medical Association. She holds memberships with American Orthopaedic Association and Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society, among other professional societies.
Dr. Humbyrd earned her medical degree at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. She went on to complete an orthopedic surgery residency at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and a foot and ankle surgery fellowship at Mercy Medical Center, both located in Baltimore.
