The University of Chicago's Harpreet S. Bawa, MD and Douglas R. Dirschl, MD, published a study finding that women have a higher likelihood to require OA-related healthcare in the 12 months before their total knee arthroplasty operation.

 

Ralph J. Napolitano Jr., DPM, joined OrthoNeuro in Columbus, Ohio.

 

The National Athletic Trainers Association recognized orthopedic surgeon Brian Cole, MD, for his athletic training work.

 

Northwestern Medicine in Chicago has honored David Watt, MD, with its 2017 humanitarian award.

 

Orthopedic surgeon, Thomas L. Finnegan, MD, passed away in his hometown of Manitowoc, Wis.
