John Paul Elton, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Vail (Colo.) Valley Medical Center, where he specializes in treating ankle and foot-related sports injuries and fractures, nerve and tendon disorders, deformities and general chronic pain.
Dr. Elton is a member of the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons and American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society. He is currently affiliated with a number of hospitals in the Vail area.
Dr. Elton earned his medical degree at Denver-based University of Colorado School of Denver before completing his orthopedic surgery residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and his foot and ankle fellowship at Boston-based Harvard University and Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.
