Scott E. Raub, DO, of Vail (Colo.)-Summit Orthopaedics specializes in back, neck, physical medicine and rehabilitation and spine treatments.
Dr. Raub has emphasized an interventional approach to back pain since joining Vail-Summit Orthopaedics in 1999, minimizing drugs whenever possible. He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the Spinal Intervention Society. He is board certified with the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, American Osteopathic College of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and has a certificate of added qualification in pain management.
Dr. Raub obtained his medical degree at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., before completing a physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Maywood, Ill.-based Loyola University Medical Center. He then underwent a sports medicine fellowship at Park Ridge, Ill.-based Lutheran General Hospital Sports Medicine Center.
