Paul A. Manner, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Seattle-based University of Washington School of Medicine's orthopedics and sports medicine department.
Dr. Manner specializes in treating hip and knee injuries and conditions. Much of his work focuses on caring for and treating osteoarthritis and he performs total hip replacement, hip preservation, total knee replacement, knee arthroscopy, complex total hip and knee revision and more types of operations. Dr. Manner's research has been published in The Journal of Arthroplasty, The Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, Orthopedics, Journal of Orthopaedic Research, and Osteoarthritis Research Society.
Dr. Manner graduated from McGill University Faculty of Medicine in Montreal, Canada, before interning at New York City-based St. Luke's/Roosevelt Hospital Center and completing his residency at McGill. He then underwent a fellowship in orthopedic research and joint diseases laboratory at Shriners Hospital for Children in Montreal and another fellowship in adult reconstruction and joint replacement at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
