A pain management program operated through Sutter Lakeside Hospital in Lakeport, Calif., will close in June due to an ongoing budget deficit, according to a Press Democrat report.

The clinic, which serves about 650 patients with chronic pain, operates at a $1 million per year deficit. It will close in June so that patients will have time to find alternatives for treatment.
