The New England Compounding Pharmacy announced it would recall its products currently in circulation distributed from its facility in Framingham, Mass.
The recall was sparked by a potential risk of contamination, which is being investigated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Center for Disease Control and Prevention and the Massachusetts Board of Registration Pharmacy.

The recall is being taken as a precautionary measure and the company has asked providers to stop using the product immediately.
