Adena Health System, based in Chillicothe, Ohio, is opening a new 20-bed Orthopedic/Spine Unit in its new Northeast Wing today, according to a report by the Chillicothe Gazette.

Trevor Pickering, MD, an orthopedic surgeon in Jackson, Miss., is using new technology to encourage faster recovery for patients undergoing hip replacement, according to a news release.
