Khawar Siddique, MD, is a neurosurgeon who treats spine disorders, including cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine conditions. He is an attending surgeon at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and a partner with Beverly Hills Spine Surgery. Dr. Siddique uses motion preservation techniques, minimally invasive surgery and image-guided procedures. At Cedars Sinai Medical Center, Dr. Siddique was the principal investigator for the Duragen IDE trial on reduction of postoperative scarring after lumbar discectomy. His research has led to many articles published in peer review journals and he has given several presentations to spine surgeon audiences. Additionally, Dr. Siddique has taught surgical dissection courses to other neurosurgeons and orthopedic surgeons.
He is a member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and American Association for Cancer Research.
Dr. Siddique earned his medical degree at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Illinois, where he also completed his residency in neurosurgery. He also completed a spine surgery fellowship at the Institute for Spinal Disorders at Cedars Sinai Medical Center.
