Dennis Crandall, MD, is the medical director of Tempe, Ariz.-based Sonoran Spine, where he also serves as the chairman of the Sonoran Spine Research and Education Foundation. He is a team spine surgeon for the Phoenix Suns and the Arizona Cardinals.
Dr. Crandall serves as co-chair of Scoliosis Research Society's public relations committee. At Phoenix-based University of Arizona College of Medicine, he is a clinical professor. Dr. Crandall is a member of North American Spine Society, American Medical Association, Scoliosis Research Society and Western Orthopedic Association, among others.
After earning his medical degree from St. Louis University, Dr. Crandall completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the same institution. He completed his spine surgery fellowship at the University of Maryland in College Park.
