Neurosurgeon Ian Côté, MD, is an assistant professor of neurological surgery at University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He also serves as Miami-based Jackson South Community Hospital's chief of spine service and neurosurgery co-director.
He specializes in surgically treating spine and peripheral nerve diseases, and has offered neurosurgical treatment to patients in Haiti. Dr. Côté serves as a Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada fellow.
After earning his medical degree from University of Ottawa in Ontario, Canada, Dr. Côté completed his neurosurgical residency at The Ottawa Hospital and Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario in Canada. He then completed his complex spine and peripheral nerve surgery fellowship at University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
