Erica Bisson, MD, is a neurosurgeon for University of Utah Health Care, an associate professor of neurosurgery, the medical director of the Clinical Neuroscience Center Neurosurgery Clinic and an adjunct associate professor of orthopedics, in Salt Lake City.
Dr. Bisson specializes in complex spine surgery with a focus on cervical disease while utilizing both novel artificial disc and fusion technology. She also treats spinal cord injuries, spine trauma and degenerative spine conditions.
Dr. Bisson professional interests include occipitocervical disease, cervical degenerative disorders, advanced spinal fusion techniques and image-guided surgery.
After Dr. Bisson obtained her medical degree from Tufts University, she completed an internship and her residency at the University of Vermont College of Medicine. She then completed her fellowship in spine surgery at the University of Utah School of Medicine, and her graduate training at the University of Utah.
