Sanjay Jatana, MD, is a fellowship trained spine surgeon at Denver Spine Surgeons, of Greenwood Village, Colo.
Dr. Jatana's specializes in the treatment of complex disorders of the cervical spine, degenerative lumbar spine and in microsurgery. Additionally he has received special training for treating patients who require repeat or revision surgery.
Dr. Jatana pays special attention to safety and accuracy. During surgery he uses spinal cord monitoring techniques and a microscope to ensure the surgery is held to the highest standards.
Throughout his career, Dr. Jatana has made accurately identifying the source of pain for sustained surgical success his number one priority. After he completes a surgery, he follows up with his patients for at least two years to ensure they have long-term positive results.
Dr. Jatana started his medical degree at Faculte Libre de Medecine and finished it at Rutgers Medical School. He completed his residency at the UCLA Medical Center, where he was elected Chief Resident in the orthopedics department. He is a member of several professional societies.
