Victor Hsu, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon in Willow Grove, Pa., who practices at several Philadelphia-based Rothman Institute locations and is affiliated with Abington (Pa.) Memorial Hospital and Abington Health Lansdale Hospital in Landsale, Pa.
Dr. Hsu specializes in pediatric and adult scoliosis, in addition to degenerative spine conditions.
After graduating from Philadelphia-based Temple University School of Medicine as part of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society, Dr. Hsu completed his internship and residency at Temple University hospital in Philadelphia. He then went on to San Diego Center for Spinal Disorders in La Jolla, Calif., where he completed his fellowship.
Dr. Hsu has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery techniques, but he is not yet fully sold on using all of the latest technology during surgery, preferring to wait until it is proven to be effective before employing it himself.
Board certified with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Hsu is also a member of the North American Spine Society and several other societies. He often writes and lectures about spines and their deformities, hoping to educate others about the important work he does on a daily basis.
