Anthony Guanciale, MD, practices orthopedic spine surgery at the University of Cincinnati Health.
Dr. Guanciale has served as director of orthopedic spine surgery and associate professor of orthopedic surgery at the University of Cincinnati department of orthopedic surgery. He specializes in utilizing minimally invasive surgery techniques and often treats various adult scoliosis deformities through corrective surgeries.
Dr. Guanciale supports physicians in training through his many published works and extensive lectures on spinal ailments. In addition, he serves as the spine surgeon consultant to the NFL's Cincinnati Bengals and the University of Cincinnati. He is a member of the Cincinnati Academy of Medicine, Ohio State Medical Association, Ohio State Orthopaedics Society, Mid-America Orthopaedic Society, North American Spine Society and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Dr. Guanciale graduated from the Medical College of Ohio – Toledo before completing his residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and his fellowship at Los Angeles' Kerlan Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic.
