William C. Tally, MD, is an orthopedic spine surgeon at Athens (Ga.) Orthopedic Clinic, where he specializes in all aspects of spine scoliosis, deformity correction, MIS and endoscopic techniques.
Dr. Tally is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Spinal Cord Injury Association and the Scoliosis Research Society. He has investigated various studies over his career and has helped develop several medical devices.
After obtaining his medical degree from Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Wake Forest University, Dr. Tally completed his residency at Philadelphia-based Thomas Jefferson University Hospital/The Rothman Institute and completed his combined orthopedic/neurosurgical spinal reconstruction fellowship at Philadelphia-based Pennsylvania Hospital/University of Pennsylvania.
