Lucio Zamorano, MD, is a neurosurgeon and clinical professor of neurological surgery at Rochester, Mich.-based Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine and practicing at Detroit-based Michigan Brain & Spine Surgery Center.
Dr. Zamorano treats brain tumors, vascular malformations, epilepsy, movement disorders, pain and psychiatric disorders. Her clinical expertise is focused on CAS and minimally invasive surgeries such as endoscopy, stereotaxis and robotics.
She has published over 600 papers and chapters on neurosurgical topics and her computer image-guided neurosurgical techniques and instrumentation have been used on inoperable tumors and lesions of the brain all over the world.
