James Lynch, MD, is a neurosurgeon at Reno-based SpineNevada, a practice he founded.
Dr. Lynch specializes in complex spine surgery, cervical disorders, degenerative spine, spinal deformities, trauma, tumor infection and minimally invasive spine surgery. He utilizes endoscopic spine surgery techniques and performs over 500 spine surgeries per year in hospitals and outpatient settings. Dr. Lynch serves as a partner and director of spine services at Westchester, Ill.-based Regent Surgical Health, a hospital and ASC-developing company.
Dr. Lynch obtained his medical degree from Dublin, Ireland- based Trinity College before completing his residency at Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic. He then completed one spine fellowship at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in London, one at the Mayo Clinic and one final fellowship at Phoenix-based Barrow Neurological Institute.
