Donald A. Ross, MD, is a neurosurgeon specializing in spine and spinal surgery at Portland-based Oregon Health & Sciences University.
Dr. Ross performs minimally invasive spine surgery, neuro-oncology and brain tumor treatment. He currently serves as associate professor at OHSU and he previously served as professor of surgery, neurosurgery and otolaryngology at Ann Arbor-based University of Michigan Medical Center. Before joining OHSU, Dr. Ross practiced privately at Medford Neurological and spine Clinic in Medford, Ore. His research has been published in Neurosurgery, Journal of Neurosurgery, Minimally Invasive Surgery and several other publications over the course of his career.
Dr. Ross graduated from Indianapolis-based Indiana University School of Medicine, completed a residency at the University of California at San Francisco's department of neurological surgery and underwent fellowship training in cranial base surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He is a certified diplomate with the American Board of Neurological Surgery.
