Juan Alzate, MD, is a spine surgeon at The American Center for Spine and Neurosurgery in Libertyville, Ill.
Dr. Alzate has special interests in minimally invasive spine surgery, complex and minimally invasive endoscopic cranial-based surgery and chiari malformations.
Board certified in neurosurgery, Dr. Alzate is a member of the North American Spine Society, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, American Association of Neurological Surgeons and North American Spine Society.
After earning his medical degree from the Universidad Del Valle Medical School in Colombia, Dr. Alzate completed his residency in neurosurgery at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City.
