Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Nicholas Theodore of John Hopkins

Nicholas Theodore, MD, is a spine surgeon and director of the neurosurgical spine center at John Hopkins in Baltimore.

Board certified in neurological surgery, Dr. Theodore specializes in chiari malformations, degenerative spine diseases, neurosurgery, spinal cord tumors, spinal deformities and spinal trauma.

 

Dr. Theodore is a member of the American Medical Association, Association of Military Surgeons of the United States and Society of Neurological Surgeons. In addition, Dr. Theodore was named one of the Best Doctors in American by the U.S. News and World Report and America's Top Doctor by Castle Connolly

Medical.

 

After earning his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington D.C., Dr. Theodore completed his residency in neurosurgery at Bethesda, Md.-based Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Dr. Theodore is also fellowship trained from the National Institute of Neurologic

Disorders and Stroke in Bethesda, Md.
