Neurosurgeons who were in a single specialty practice receive more per day in average on-call compensation, according to a report from the Medical Group Management Association.
Neurosurgeons in a single-specialty practice received $800 more per day in median on-call compensation than neurosurgeons in multispecialty practices. All neurosurgeons across the country received $1,600 to $1,830 on average per day for on-call coverage.
