Stephen T. Onesti, MD, a neurosurgeon specializing in spine and director of neurosurgery for South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside, N.Y., has been appointed to the Nassau County Medical Society board of directors.
Dr. Onesti is an attending neurosurgeon with
Neurological Surgery, a neurosurgical private practice based in Long Island, N.Y., as well as a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He previously served on the board of directors of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons.
His one-year term on the Nassau County Medical Society board began on July 1.
