The American Association of Neurological Surgeons has elected William T. Couldwell, MD, PhD, as its president for the second year.
Dr. Couldwell earned his medical degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. His clinical interests include neuro-oncology, skull base and cerebrovascular neurosurgery and surgical management of epilepsy.
He is also a member of the AANS board of directors, having served in that capacity since 2006.
