Seth A. Grossman, MD, has joined The Center for Spinal Disorders in Englewood, N.J.

Here are five things to know:

 

1. Dr. Grossman is an orthopedic and spine surgeon.

 

2. He completed his residency at Montefore Medical Center, the University Hospital for the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, and his fellowship at the University of California at San Diego Medical Center.

 

3. Previously, Dr. Grossman was a member of the Orlin and Cohen Orthopedic Group in Long Island, N.Y.

 

4. He specializes in both nonsurgical and surgical management of spinal disorders, including minimally invasive spine surgery, degenerative disease, deformity, scoliosis and trauma.

 

5. Dr. Grossman is a martial arts enthusiast and brings this passion to his medical work by creating strength and conditioning programs that include cycling, rock climbing, yoga and CrossFit, a workout movement that incorporates elements from high-intensity interval training, Olympic weightlifting, plyometrics, powerlifting, gymnastics, girevoy sport, calisthenics, strongman and other exercises.
