Here are six spine and neurosurgeons making headlines this week.

Greg Anderson, MD, led research on CLARIX 100 for lumbar microdiscectomy. Clinical Spine Surgery published the study.

 

Mountain Home, Ark.-based Baxter Regional Medical Center's Lucas Bradley, MD, was named the medical center's new neurosurgery and spine clinic, according to The Baxter Bulletin.

 

Kern Singh, MD, Payam Farjoodi, MD, and Brian Gantwerker, MD, discussed the use of spine biologics with Becker's Spine Review.

 

With a $50 million donation from Gary Michelson, MD, the Los Angeles-based University of Southern California is opening the USC Michelson Center for Convergent Bioscience, the San Diego Union Tribune reports.
