Mr. Lin was suffering from a small meniscal tear in his left knee, and Dr. Allen performed the repair. Mr. Lin is expected to spend six weeks recovering.

Answorth Allen, MD, an orthopedic surgeon at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, recently performed knee surgery on New York Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin, according to a report from the Sacramento Bee.
