Dr. James Andrews to Perform Elbow Surgery on Mets Pitcher Mike Pelfrey Featured

James Andrews, MD, founder of Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine in Gulf Breeze, Fla., will perform unlar collateral ligament repair on New York Mets pitcher Mike Pelfrey, according to a New Jersey Online report.
Dr. Andrews confirmed Mr. Pelfrey's diagnosis last week and will perform the repair today. Mr. Pelfrey will spend the next 12 months recovering from the procedure.
