Mr. Frye injured his shoulder during a game last month and opted for surgery after Suns orthopedic surgeon Thomas Carter, MD, recommended Dr. Yocum for the procedure. He will now spend time recovering from surgery.

Lewis Yocum, MD, an orthopedic surgeon at Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles, recently performed shoulder surgery on Phoenix Suns forward Channing Frye, according to an NBA report.
