Stanley L. James, MD, is part of the Slocum Center for Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Eugene, Ore. He earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa Medical School and joined the Slocum Center in 1967. Dr. James is currently treating elite runners preparing for the 2012 Olympics and is on the orthopedic staff for the 2012 Track and Field Trials.
Champ L. Baker, Jr., MD, is a staff physician at The Hughston Clinic in Columbus, Ga., and a clinical assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at Medical College of Georgia. He earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University. In addition to his leadership at The Hughston Clinic, Dr. Baker has been the team physician for numerous local and regional athletic teams, including the University of Alabama, and is currently the team physician for Columbus State University.
