Robert G. Marx, MD, an orthopedic surgeon at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, has published a book on anterior cruciate ligament injury prevention for athletes.
The ACL Solution, written in partnership with physical therapist Grethe Myklebust, details:

•    Basic information about the structure of the knee and how ACL tears occur
•    Wat to do if your ACL tears
•    An outline of Dr. Marx's ACL protection program
•    Additional steps beyond rehabilitation

"Having treated countless ACL injuries in athletes of all ages and levels of competition, Dr. Marx puts in one place everything you need to know about this injury and most importantly how to prevent it. This is a must-read for all athletes, coaches, trainers and physicians," said Russell F. Warren, MD, surgeon-in-chief emeritus at Hospital for Special Surgery and team physician for the New York Giants.
