Dr. Christopher Harner Named Team Physician for Pittsburgh Penguins Featured

Christopher Harner, MD, has been named team physician for the Pittsburgh Penguins, according to a Washington Post report.
Dr. Harner is an orthopedic surgeon at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He co-founded the hospital's Center of Sports Medicine and was recently named president of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine.

Dr. Harner earned his medical degree at the University of Michigan. Dr. Harner also completed a residency at University of Pittsburgh Medical School and a fellowship at Salt Lake City Knee and Sports Medicine.
