Dr. Craig Young Awarded With 2012 Founders Award Featured

Craig Young, MD, a sports and family medicine physician, was awarded the 2012 Founders Award by the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine.
The award is given at the discretion of AMSSM leadership and is presented to an individual, group or organization that exemplifies the practice of sports medicine. In addition to Dr. Young's clinical practice at Froedtert Hospital, he serves as a professor of orthopedic surgery and family and community medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Dr. Young received his medical degree at the University of California in San Diego in 1988. He did his residency in family medicine at the University of California in Los Angeles and completed a sports medicine fellowship with the Cleveland Clinic in 1992. He joined the Medical College of Wisconsin faculty in 1992.
