Heinz Hoenecke, MD, and Lorenzo Pacelli, MD, orthopedic surgeons at Scripps Health in San Diego, performed elbow surgery on San Diego Padres' pitcher Tim Stauffer, according to an MLB report.
Mr. Stauffer underwent the procedure to have a flexor tendon repaired in his right elbow. He is expected to make a full recovery in time for spring training.
