UT Medicine San Antonio and Sports Medicine Associates of San Antonio will team up to create the new UT Medicine Sports Medicine Institute, according to a San Antonio Business Journal report.
Through the new sports medicine institute, specialists and faculty from the medical school and orthopedic practice will educate residents and fellows who are studying orthopedics and sports medicine. In addition, patients will be able to see orthopedists from both organizations.
