James Andrews, MD, has performed elbow surgery on New York Yankee pitcher CC Sabathia, according to an ESPN report.
Dr. Andrews performed the procedure to remove a bone spur in Mr. Sabathia's left elbow. Mr. Sabathia is expected to be ready in time for spring training.
