Neal ElAttrache, MD, team physician for the Los Angeles Dodgers, recently performed elbow surgery on Dodgers relief pitcher Scott Elbert, according to a Daily Bulletin report. Dr. ElAttrache performed an arthroscopic procedure to repair cartilage damage in the same elbow where Mr. Elbert underwent surgery in September of last year. Mr. Elbert is expected to begin physical therapy and return to play by opening day, according to the report.
