NFL Players Association Grants Harvard $100M in Research & Healthcare Partnership

The National Football League Players Association has partnered with Harvard Medical School in Boston to create an initiative to improve the health of professional football players. The NFLPA granted $100 million to create the Harvard Integrated Program to Protect and Improve the Health of NFLPA Members with a 10-year initiative. The program will include intellectual, scientific and medical expertise for preventing and treating injuries and illness in active and retired players.

The group will immediately began working with NFL players and retired athletes on studies.
