Timothy Kremchek, MD, was recently scheduled to perform shoulder surgery to repair a torn labrum in the right shoulder of Cincinnati Reds' left fielder Ryan Ludwick. Robert Kaufmann, MD, performed hand surgery on Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Paul Martin.

David Altchek
, MD, recently performed surgery to repair a re-torn anterior capsule in the shoulder of New York Mets' pitcher Johan Santana. Dr. Altchek also performed arthroscopic knee surgery on Philadelphia 76er Andrew Bynum.  He performed ulnar collateral ligament reconstructive surgery on Cleveland Indians pitcher Frank Hermann's right elbow.

On April 2, James Andrews, MD, surgically repaired San Diego Padres pitcher Casey Kelly's damaged ulnar collateral ligament.

Steve Shin, MD, performed thumb surgery on Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Hanley Ramirez to repair a torn ligament.

On May 9, Michael Joyce, MD, is scheduled to perform surgery on WNBA Seattle Storm player Sue Bird to remove a cyst from her left knee.

Ken Akizuki, MD, was recently scheduled to repair a torn meniscus in San Francisco Giants first baseman Brett Pill's right knee.

Charles Melone, MD, recently performed successful surgery to repair New Orleans Hornets guard Austin Rivers' broken hand.

Thomas Graham, MD, has recently performed wrist surgery on Florida Panthers center Stephen Weiss.

Gary Waslewski, MD, and William Raasch, MD, surgically repaired Milwaukee Brewer Mat Gamel's torn right ACL.
