The Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York has been appointed the official medical care provider of the U.S. Open and United States Tennis Association. Alexis Chiang Colvin, MD, assistant professor of sports medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center, will serve as the USTA chief medical officer. James Gladstone, MD, associate professor of sports medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine, will serve as a medical advisor for the U.S. Davis Cup team.
Mount Sinai will also partner with ProHEALTH Care Associates, a New York physician group, which has worked with the U.S. Open since 1997.
