Scottsdale (Ariz.) Healthcare will be the site of the world's first orthopedic trauma surgery recorded using Google Glasses, according to an ABC 15 report.

The surgery will be streamed live to orthopedic trauma fellows, residents, medical students and other orthopedic surgeons in the United States.

Gil Ortega, MD, an orthopedic surgeon at Scottsdale Healthcare, was chosen by Google earlier this year to test the device before it is released to the public, according to the report.
