This week, Craig Westin, MD, board-certified orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine physician of Illinois Bone & Joint Institute in Chicago, is at Champs Camp in Colorado Springs, Colo., to examine the skaters of the U.S. Figure Skating team.
The Winter Olympics are less than six months away and Dr. Westin is performing medical exams to identify any pre-season problems the skaters may have.
Dr. Westin is the team physician for the Olympic figure skating team. He also serves as the medical director of Chicago's Joffrey Ballet.
