Timothy Kremchek, MD, board-certified orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine physician, recently performed elbow surgery on the Cincinnati Reds right-handed relief pitcher Jonathan Broxton, according to a CBS Sports report.
Dr. Kremchek performed the procedure to repair a torn flexor mass in the player's right forearm.
The pitcher is expected to need six months to recover.
Dr. Kremchek practices with Beacon Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine in Cincinnati.
