Marina Del Rey (Calif.) Hospital has announced the acquisition of Brainlab's Curve image-guided surgery platform and 3-D C-Arm navigation software.
The Curve is designed to better traditional navigation with improved ergonomics, a multidirectional touch terminal, Wi-Fi, Hi-Fi and digital HD.
The 3-D C-Arm is designed to provide orthopedic surgeons will real-time navigation during complex spine and trauma procedures.
The hospital also has Brainlab's NaviVision 3-D navigation system.
The new technology is expected to be completely installed and operational by Oct. 1.
